Sophie De Clercq has watched what is licensed in Belgium since 2019 and opens an account at every operator with a preference for support and limits. Base: Brugge.

How we test. we open an account ourselves, deposit via Bancontact, pull the money out and time the whole route. The licence check happens at the source, not at the operator and dig through the general terms. What we could not verify does not appear.
Limits, age and EPIS
Player protection in Belgium is arranged notably strictly by European standards with concrete consequences for your account. Each site automatically applies a €200 weekly ceiling. Dropping that limit is possible at any moment, upwards, a review and a delay apply.
Through EPIS the Gaming Commission runs centralised exclusion: the block covers every licence holder in the country. Registering costs nothing. The bar has stood at 21 since 1 September 2024, lottery aside; only the National Lottery stays at 18. Age is verified at registration.
